How to create a Listing?

Listing and property creation process.

Overview

This article walks you through the process of creating a listing on Engage platform.


Creating a listing is no longer just a task—it’s an experience. We’ve redesigned the process to make listing creation easier than ever before, blending sophisticated logic with an intuitive flow


📍 Access Listing Creation

  • Log in to the Engage Web platform.

  • Navigate to the Listings tab from the main menu.

  • Click Create New Listing located at the top-right corner of the screen.

🕵️Search for an Existing Property

To maintain a pristine database and eliminate duplicates, always start with a quick query in the Property Search field.

  • Simply enter the unit number, location, or building name (e.g., “408, Azizi Venice”).

Match found?

Simply select it from the dropdown.

Not Found?

Add a New Property

  • If the property isn't there, click the “+” (Add Property) icon next to the                  search field to manually bring it into the system.

  • Enter Property Location Details.

💡Complete all mandatory fields (marked with *)

  • Select Usage Type (Residential or Commercial).

  • Enter the unit number and property type.

  • Click Next to proceed.


🏗️ Configure Property Details & Amenities

Enter the specific characteristics of the property to on the Property Details screen:

  1. Enter:

    • Number of bedrooms

    • Number of bathrooms

    • BUA

    • Parking spaces

💡Bed rooms, bathrooms, and property size (must match permit/title deed).

2. Select:

  • Completion status (Ready or Off-Plan)

  • Furnished / Unfurnished

  • View (from predefined options)

3. Click on Next

  • Select Managed (Yes/No)

  • Select the applicable amenities.

    (Tap to add; tap again to remove.)

4. Click Create to finalize the property profile.

🔓 Select Listing Type & Visibility

Now that the property exists, define the nature of the listing.

  • Choose the listing type:

    • Sale

    • Rental

💡 The system will not allow a new listing if a Draft, In Review, Reserved, or Active listing already exists for that unit.

  • Choose Visibility

  1. Select Market Listing or Pocket Listing

    • Market Listing:

      • LSA (for leasing) / Form A (for sales) uploads are mandatory

    • Pocket Listing:

      • Document uploads are optional

🤝 Owner Details & Documents

Connect the property to its owner for legal compliance.

  1. In the Owner Details section, search by:

    • Mobile number, or

    • Email address

  2. If the owner exists, select the contact.

  3. If not found, click the plus button to Add a New Contact and enter:

    • Owner name

    • Email address or

    • Mobile number

💡 Unit numbers and property owner details are for internal use only (not displayed online)

Upload Documents

  1. Upload owner identification and property document.

  • Emirates ID or Passport

  • Title deed or Oqood

2. Click on Next

💰 Price Information

Enter the following mandatory fields:

  1. Commission percentage

  2. Deposit

  3. Availability date, No: of cheques (For rental)

  4. Rental amount (For rental), Sale Price (For sales)

💡 You can click Save as Draft at any stage. A unique Reference Number will be generated so you can resume editing later.

🎨 Marketing Details & Media

Customize how your listing appears to the public and on portals.

  • Marketing Content: Enter a catchy Marketing Title (30–50 characters) and a detailed Description (750–2000 characters)

Assign:

  • Agent – Primary agent for the listing.

  • Advertiser – Optional; list under a different agent.

  • Buddy – Optional; share leads with another user (In this case the advertiser has to be the agent’s manager).

    Portals: Choose where the listing will be published(Optional, If no portals are selected, admins will publish the listing on all available portals)

  • Upload Images: You must upload at least 5 images (10+ recommended for portals).

  • Select a cover photo that highlights a strong feature.

  • You can also reuse existing images from the Archived Images section if available

💡 Use high-quality, landscape format (4:3 ratio)

💡You can drag images to put them in your preferred order.

Hover over the image to see the buttons to delete or view it.

  • Add Extras: Include videos, floor plans, or virtual tours if available.

    🚀 The Finish Line: Submit for Review

  • Before going live, review the quality metrics and make any necessary changes

  • You can preview the brochure and share it with clients.

  • Click Submit for Review.

Admins will be notified of the listing under review and will publish it.

Add a new Listing

Tap the Add Listing button to start creating rent or sale listings from your app!

Note: To add a new property, switch to the Engage web interface. The mobile app currently only allows you to choose from existing properties.

Update your Listings

Tap Update to update your listings.

FAQ's

What is off-plan primary and secondary?

  • Off-plan primary refers to new properties that are still under development and sold directly by the developer, not yet completed.

  • Off-plan secondary refers to properties that are not yet completed (off-plan) and are being resold in the secondary market.

What is Ready Primary and secondary?

  • Primary refers to listings or permits related to new projects or developments.

  • Secondary refers to resale or existing properties.
